How to Choose the Right Ceiling Light 🤔
The most critical parameter is size and wattage relative to room area. Rule of thumb: 10–12W per m² for medium lighting. A 15 m² room needs a 150–180W fixture, though Nisko's 3CCT LED lights deliver more efficient illumination than the numbers suggest.
3CCT technology is one of the best features — with one switch (or three quick on/offs) you can switch between warm (3000K), neutral (4000K) and cool (6500K) light. This is ideal for rooms that serve different purposes throughout the day.
Check fixture diameter relative to room size. A 40 cm fixture in a 20 m² room will look too small. The JULIA 100 cm series suits large living rooms, while JULIA 40 cm is perfect for bedrooms or children's rooms.
💡 Pro Tip
With Nisko's 3CCT version — 3 quick on/off cycles change the color mode. When installing, make sure the room switch allows rapid switching and is not a dimmer — otherwise you won't be able to change the light mode.
Installation — Key Things to Know 🔧
Nisko ceiling fixtures connect to a standard ceiling junction box. Large models (100 cm) are relatively heavy — ensure the junction box is screwed into concrete ceiling, not just drywall. Tools: screwdriver, wire stripper, multimeter.
Simple connection: live, neutral, earth. 3CCT lights don't need a dimmer — they respond to a standard switch. Installation time: 15–30 minutes for a skilled person.
Maintenance: wiping the LED panel with a damp cloth once a year maintains full brightness. LED lifespan: 50,000 hours — about 17 years at 8 hours daily use.

Frequently Asked Questions ❓
What is 3CCT and how do I use it?
3CCT = three color temperatures in one fixture. Switch modes with 3 quick on/off cycles — no remote needed.
How many watts do I need for a bedroom?
Average bedroom (12–15 m²): 40–60W is enough for comfortable lighting. The JULIA 40W is perfect for this.
Is JULIA 100 cm suitable for a drywall ceiling?
Yes — but the junction box must be secured to a solid anchor, not just drywall. For weights over 3 kg (like JULIA 120W) — concrete anchor is mandatory.
What is the difference between MAYA and JULIA?
MAYA is a classic flat-round design, JULIA is flat with a prominent frame. Both have 3CCT and the same quality.
Can I connect a ceiling light to a dimmer?
Not recommended for 3CCT models — the dimmer interferes with the color-change mechanism.
