Your Privacy Matters

This Privacy Policy explains how RAMO – Raw Materials and More (Company No. 201298411) ("the Company", "RAMO", "we") collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information when you visit www.ramo.co.il, make a purchase, or contact us.

We are committed to transparency and protecting your privacy under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, the Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Security), 2017, and applicable Israeli law. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms.

By using the site and services you agree to processing of personal information as described here. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties that help operate the service.

Information you provide

  • Identity and contact details: full name, phone, email, shipping/billing address.
  • Account and login details (if you have an account), including user identifiers via our authentication provider.
  • Order, payment, and customer-service communications (inquiry content).
  • Optional business details (e.g. ID / company number) for invoices, if you provide them.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address and approximate location.
  • Browser type, language, device, and operating system.
  • Pages viewed, access times, interactions with content and ads.
  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from authentication, payment, shipping, analytics, and advertising providers (e.g. Clerk, payment/invoicing provider, HFD and shipping partners, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) as involved in providing the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • Operating the site, processing and fulfilling orders and payments, issuing invoices/receipts.
  • Operational communications: order confirmations, shipping updates, support.
  • Analyzing and improving user experience, the site, and services.
  • Fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcing our Terms.
  • Content and advertising personalization — subject to consent and applicable law.

3. Marketing Communications

Advertising messages are sent in accordance with the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 1982 ("Spam Law"), and subject to consent and/or applicable rules.

You may withdraw consent at any time via an unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop operational messages (e.g. order confirmation).

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

The site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for operation, analytics, tailored advertising, and service improvement.

  • Essential cookies: Required for basic function (language, cart, login, security).
  • Analytics cookies: Help us understand site usage (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Preference & advertising cookies: Remember preferences and/or enable ad measurement and personalization (e.g. Meta Pixel), subject to your settings and law.

You can manage cookies in browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may impair site function.

5. Sharing with Third Parties

We share information with providers who need it to deliver the service, under minimization and security principles:

  • Payment processors and invoicing providers — for secure payment processing.
  • Authentication/account providers (e.g. Clerk) — for login and accounts.
  • Shipping and fulfillment partners (e.g. HFD) — for order delivery.
  • Cloud hosting/infrastructure providers (e.g. Vercel) — to run the site.
  • Analytics and advertising providers — for usage analysis and campaign measurement, where enabled.
  • Competent authorities under law/order; and in merger, acquisition, or asset transfer — with appropriate safeguards.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures under the Data Security Regulations, including transport encryption (SSL/TLS), access controls, and backups.

Payments are processed by certified providers. Access to personal data is limited to those who need it for their role.

Absolute protection against intrusion or technical failure cannot be guaranteed. Sensitive data should be sent only over secure channels.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes collected, or longer if required by law.

Examples: account details — while the account is active; purchase/tax records — typically up to about seven years under tax law; support inquiries — typically up to about two years from the inquiry, unless otherwise required.

8. Your Rights

Under Israeli law (and foreign law if applicable), you may have rights such as:

  • Right of access / inspection.
  • Right to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to delete your account from the RAMO app or website (Account → Personal info / Account settings → Delete account), subject to legal retention of orders and invoices.

Services are not intended for persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you learn that a minor’s data was collected, contact us for removal.
