How to Choose the Right Digital Safe? 🤔
When buying a digital safe, the first consideration is volume. The Mini 4.5L is ideal for passports, jewelry, and a small amount of cash. If you need to store A4 documents, larger items, or multiple valuables, opt for the 8.5L or 26.8L models.
Lockstone's digital lock operates with a 4–6 digit code plus an emergency key. Always check that the safe includes mounting holes — anchoring to a wall or floor is critical to prevent theft. All Lockstone models come with a mounting kit included.
A common mistake is buying too small. The 26.8L model costs ₪444 incl. VAT — a modest investment compared to the added capacity and peace of mind it provides.
💡 Pro Tip
Always buy one size up — most buyers regret going too small. The Lockstone 8.5L at ₪195 incl. VAT is only ₪78 more than the Mini but offers twice the storage space.
Installation & Use 🔧
Preparation: Choose a hidden but accessible location — inside a closet, under a bed, or in a corner. Mount on a concrete wall or solid floor using the included bolts for maximum security.
Setting Your Code: Open with the emergency key, insert 4 fresh AA batteries, press RESET and choose a 4–6 digit code. Avoid using birth dates. Keep a backup note of your code in a separate secure location.
Maintenance: Replace batteries every 12–18 months or when the low-battery indicator lights up. Check the door seals regularly and store the emergency key separately from the safe.
