Lugano Bathroom Accessories — Price List & Buyer's Guide 2026 | ramo.co.il

Before buying a shelf or caddy, check the body material. Stainless steel shelves hold up best in a shower's wet environment and won't rust even after years, while black lacquer-coated shelves look modern but need occasional wiping to keep their finish.

A common mistake is choosing a single shelf when you actually need storage for shampoo, soap and scrub together — a double shelf or two-tier rack saves you from installing a second one later. Also check the shelf width against your actual shower stall, especially in apartments with narrow enclosures.

Local tip: hard water (high in calcium) is common across much of Israel, so 304-grade stainless steel resists limescale build-up far better than cheaper coated metals.

Most Lugano wire shelves come with a strong adhesive kit that needs no drilling — just clean the surface, let it dry fully, and stick it on. For shower systems with a valve, first confirm the pipe diameter matches your existing bathroom connection.

To install a shelf: measure the desired height, mark a straight line with a level, peel the backing off the adhesive strip and press firmly for 30 seconds. Wait 24 hours before loading weight onto the shelf so the adhesive fully sets.

Maintenance: rinse shelves weekly with water and mild soap to prevent limescale buildup, and check monthly that screws or adhesive are still secure. Avoid strong acidic cleaners on coated stainless steel to protect the finish.
