When you need to branch from a main pipe into two parallel lines, a Multigol T is the professional solution. Golan Industries offers a range of T fittings for every Multigol diameter, delivering a fast, reliable, and long-lasting connection — with no welding and no leaks.
Quick Summary
- Precise branching – from one pipe to two parallel lines
- Fits all Multigol diameters – 16, 20, 25, 32 mm
- Press-fit connection – fast, clean, no welding
- Equal T and reducing T – for every branching configuration
- High durability – suitable for cold and hot pressurized piping
- Part of the Multigol system – fully compatible with all accessories
Equal T vs. reducing T — what’s the difference?
There are two main types of T fittings in pressurized piping:
Equal T – all three openings are the same diameter. It’s suitable when all three branches use the same pipe size — for example, a main branch between two equal lines.
Reducing T – the side branch is smaller in diameter. Very common: from a 25 mm main pipe, you branch to a single service point in 16 mm. This saves material and makes planning easier.
When do you need a T, and when is a connector enough?
Connector (Straight Connector) – used to join two straight pipe ends with no branching.
T – when you need to branch to a new service point without interrupting the flow in the main pipe. For example:
- Connecting a faucet to the main pipe
- Supplying an additional bathroom from the main pipe
- Connecting a heating system to the main pipe
Important: do not confuse a T with a Y fitting (a Y is intended for wastewater piping at different angles).
📋How to connect a Multigol T in steps
Cut the main pipe
Cut the main pipe at the desired branching point. A clean, straight cut is essential for a perfect seal.
Prep the three ends
Use a reamer to open the three pipe ends that will be inserted into the T.
Insert and check depth
Insert each end up to the depth mark inside the T. Make sure all three ends are seated properly.
Press the connections
Press each connection separately with the diagonal pliers. Make the presses in order: first the two straight branches, then the side branch.
Plan T fittings with future access in mind
Place T fittings at points where you may need to add connections in the future. It’s better to plan for access now than to break walls later.
