Before buying a globe bulb, check three things: base type (E27 is most common in Israel, E14 is smaller), color temperature (warm 2700K for a cozy feel or cool 4000-6500K for functional lighting), and finish — clear for a decorative sparkle effect, opal or frosted for soft, even light diffusion.

The most common mistake is choosing a clear bulb for a pendant lamp where the bulb is fully exposed — this causes uncomfortable glare. If the bulb is clearly visible, an opal or frosted finish is preferable.

Israel's standard voltage is 220V, and all bulbs on our site are compatible. Note that displayed prices already include VAT, so there are no surprises at checkout.

Before replacing a bulb, always turn off the switch and make sure the base matches the socket (E27 or E14). Screw it in gently by hand — over-tightening can damage the socket.

Make sure the wattage matches your fixture and don't exceed the manufacturer's recommended maximum. LED bulbs don't heat up like incandescent ones, but it's still best to wait a few seconds before touching after turning off.
