Anyone who bakes or cooks from a recipe knows — a teaspoon and a cup aren't always accurate, and a good kitchen scale is what separates a recipe that works from one that fails. OMEGA's digital kitchen scale line comes in a range of colorful designs, all at one easy price of 34 ILS incl. VAT. Every model is compact, accurate and easy to clean.

How to choose the right kitchen scale? 🤔
The most important factor is measurement accuracy — most recipes only need 1-gram precision, which is exactly what OMEGA scales offer. Also check the maximum weight range (usually around 5kg), which covers most home kitchen tasks like flour, sugar or meat.
A common mistake is choosing a scale only by color or design without checking the platform size — a large bowl may not sit stably on too small a surface. Also make sure the digital display is large and clear, especially if you'll use the scale in dim lighting.
An Israel-specific tip: a scale with a tare (zero-out) function lets you weigh ingredients directly into your mixing bowl without subtracting the bowl's own weight — saving dishes and cleanup time.
💡 Pro tip
Before first use, zero out (tare) the scale on a flat, dry surface — this ensures accurate readings from the start.
Use and maintenance 🔧
Unbox the scale and insert the required battery (usually a coin cell included). Place the scale on a flat, stable surface, press the power button and wait for it to reset to zero.
Place the bowl or ingredient on the platform, and press the tare button if you want to zero out the bowl's weight. Read the result on the digital display — most models let you switch between grams, kilograms and ounces.
For maintenance, wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth after each use, avoid running it under water, and remove the battery if not using the scale for a long time.
