SP Pexgol PEX Pipe Price List 2026 — Types, Prices & Installation | ramo.co.il

The two most important parameters are pipe diameter (16, 20, or 25 mm for standard apartments) and connection method — press-fit (SP) or crimp (Pexgol). SP press-fit pipes come with brand-specific fittings that are not compatible with Pexgol, so choose one system and stick with it throughout the project.

Pexgol +CL chlorine-resistant pipes suit areas with high chlorine concentration in the water supply. Thermally insulated pipes are recommended for hot water lines passing through cold zones (roof, parking, or outdoor corridor).

Israel-specific: Black SP pipes are suited for concrete embedding — they're resistant to alkalinity. Some red/blue pipes indicate hot/cold — check the marking before installation.

Before installation, plan the full pipe route and note all required lengths. Cut only with a dedicated PEX cutter — general cutters leave burrs that cause leaks. Minimum bending radius: 6 times the pipe diameter — never overbend.

After installation, before plastering or pouring concrete — photograph every pipe route. This will save major headaches later during repairs. Perform a pressure test (10 bar, 24 hours) before closing the walls.

Maintenance: PEX pipes require no maintenance. Their flexibility allows them to withstand freezing water expansion without bursting — a significant advantage in cold apartments. Check annually for visible scale buildup at access points.
